I knew Alesha and Jason were going to be special when we first met at my house for our initial consultation.
They showed up bearing gifts for my then 3, almost 4 year old - crayons, pencils, erasers, a coloring book, etc - an extremely thoughtful gesture from 2 amazing grade school teachers!
After a wonderful meeting, I knew the wedding was going to be great. Not only was it with two great people, but it was right after Christmas and at one of my favorite venues, The New Haven Lawn Club - who always does a spectacular job (thank you Christine and team!) and whose holiday decoration are always stunning!
Fast forward to the wedding day and it was perfection. Warm enough to get outside for a first look and photos but still holding on to that winter holiday feel.
One of the sweetest moments was during the ceremony (officiated so beautifully by Victoria Burdick). Alesha and Jason invited their students to the ceremony - and it did not disappoint. Watching the kids go through a whole range of emotions through the ceremony was nothing short of beautiful and to see all these kids there for these two shows you what an impact they have had on their lives and really gives you an idea on what kind of people Alesha and Jason are!
After the ceremony (which had very cute personal vows), the reception kicked off with a great first dance followed by wondeful toasts. Then, DJs Geoff Pusko and Grace Pusko of Local Motion Entertainment, LLC kicked up the music and had the dance floor packed all night long (they always pack the floor!!)!
It was a perfect day for a perfect couple and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it!
Congratulations Alesha and Jason, enjoy your highlight film!
